Policy Update: Mt. Bachelor now allows Class-1 pedal-assist e-mountain bikes on its downhill Bike Park trails off Little Pine and Pine Marten chairlifts. This decision aims to make the mountain more accessible to a broader range of riders. Mt. Bachelor continues to welcome the use of adaptive e-bikes. Click here for a full list of permitted equipment at Mt. Bachelor during summer.
Reminder: Uphill riding remains prohibited on all Mt. Bachelor trails and service roads, and all users must have a valid lift ticket or pass to enjoy the Bike Park. Class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes are prohibited on non-motorized trails in the Deschutes National Forest, including trail systems directly outside Mt. Bachelor’s special-use permit boundary.
