Tough viz? Wave thy magic wand
Friday 2/27:
7:00am Update: Happy Friday! The approach to Mt. Bachelor this morning reveals a postcard-perfect scene of pristine blue skies and serene Cascade Mountain views. It's a cool and crisp start with temps reading in the 20s, so we expect firm morning snow conditions as we await softer midday laps, courtesy of an expected high of 45°. Light winds and mostly sunny skies round out today's forecast and will make for a perfect day spent on the slopes. Our groomers once again worked their magic overnight, laying out miles of smooth corduroy across our trail network for your enjoyment. You can find current info on open trails and grooming status on our Lift & Trail Status page.
The West Bowls and Sparks Lake Bowl remain closed and current western ski area boundary is now Upper Osprey Way > Sparks Lake Run. The eastern boundary remains the East Bowls > East Catchline. Please adhere to closures.
Be Advised: The snow surface is fast and firm. Keep your speed in check and stay in control. Give other skiers and riders adequate space. Despite recent snowfall, coverage remains thin across the mountain. Please stick to open/named runs, expect marked and unmarked obstacles, and ski or ride with caution.
