Tough viz? Wave thy magic wand
Monday 3/2:
7:00am Update: Happy Monday! The morning is starting out overcast with fog at mid-mountain and temperatures hovering right around freezing. Winds are light on the eastside and frontside but we are seeing occasional strong gusts on the westside. Colder overnight temperatures allowed the snow surface to take a hard set at higher elevations, which should soften nicely as the day unfolds. Our grooming team did their magic on about 60 trails. As of late, on-piste is offering the best skiing and riding conditions so check the groom status when planning your route down. Expect runs to change as temperatures rise and others carve up the corduroy. The forecast calls for clearing skies and a high of 40 degrees.
The West Bowls and Sparks Lake Bowl remain closed, and the western ski area boundary is Upper Osprey Way > Sparks Lake Run. The eastern boundary is the East Bowls > East Catchline. Please adhere to closures.
Be Advised: The snow surface is fast and firm. Keep your speed in check and stay in control. Give other skiers and riders adequate space. Coverage remains thin across the mountain. Please stick to open/named runs, expect marked and unmarked obstacles, and ski or ride with caution.
